After this story was published, Zweighaft emailed Civil Beat with the following statement: "Since I've had a chance to look back into the facts, I want to confirm that I was incorrect when I said that height was the cause of the incursion. The RPZ is flat regardless of height and the glide path is sloped where height is a factor. The alignment could not have remained in the RPZ, so it was the RPZ that was the basis of moving the alignment. Sorry for my unclear memory of these events."
