The study’s price tag? $260,000, according to news reports.
The investigation will be conducted in the aftermath of last year’s “Wonder Blunder,” which lost the university more than $200,000 after it got scammed when trying to arrange for a Stevie Wonder concert fundraiser.
The study will focus on accountability in financial transactions.
The task force will consult UH administrators, legislators and representatives from Gov. Neil Abercrombie‘s office, the AP reports.
The university expects to wrap up the study in roughly 12 weeks.
