·By civilbeat

The University of Hawaii at Manoa’s School of Architecture is joining forces with the China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) — the country’s largest international design and construction firm, according to a UH press release.

The company is known for constructing 80 percent of buildings 30 stories or higher in China, the announcement says.

The university and CSEC on Tuesday signed a “Memorandum of Understanding,” marking their commitment to working together on design, sustainability and urbanization issues.

The partnership will create opportunities for the two entities to focus on present and future
