U.S. Rep. Colleen Hanabusa today named John Salsbury campaign manager for her challenge to U.S. Sen. Brian Schatz in the Democratic primary.
The Hanabusa campaign says Salsbury is “a veteran of campaigns and longtime advocate for organized labor.”
Salsbury left his role with the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME). In 2010, AFSCME sent Salsbury to Hawaii to coordinate organized labor’s efforts to help elect Hanabusa to the U.S. House.
