Former Rep. Meyer Pulls Papers to Run for Sen. Hee’s Seat
Colleen Meyer, a former Republican state legislator, has pulled candidate papers for Senate District 23, currently represented by Democrat Clayton Hee.
Meyer lost to Hee 51-44 percent in 2012.
If Meyer runs in the Republican primary, she may face state Rep. Richard Fale, who has also indicated he wants to challenge Hee — in no small part because of their differences on same-sex marriage.
