UH Board of Regents Chooses New Chair, Vice Chairs

Randolph Moore was elected chair, while Jan Sullivan and Eugene Bal were selected as vice chairs.

The University of Hawaii Board of Regents voted unanimously yesterday to appoint Randolph Moore as the board’s chairman.

Moore succeeds outgoing chairman John Holzman, whose term ended this year.

Meanwhile, Jan Sullivan and Eugene Ball were elected vice chairs, succeeding former vice chairs Saedene Ota, who recently resigned, and James Lee.

The terms last one year.

The regents hear public testimony before taking the vote for a new president.
