Meet 'Value of Hawaii' Editors at Civil Beat

Essays from the book, "The Value of Hawaii," have already generated lively discussion on Civil Beat. The first opportunity to continue the conversation in person comes at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 5 at Civil Beat headquarters. The public is invited.

Editors Craig Howes and Jonathan Osorio will join our Chad Blair to talk about their essays in the book (all of which by then will have been excerpted on Civil Beat — Osorio's will be published Monday). They'll also talk about the idea of the book itself and answer questions from people in the audience.
