Board Of Education Election 2010

In Hawaii's 2010 general election, voters elected six new members to the Hawaii State Board of Education. A seventh seat was filled in a no-contest race. But because voters that year also year passed a state constitutional amendment that abolished the elected board, the seven people who won serveed only a few months before the elected board was replaced with one appointed by Gov. Neil Abercrombie.
