Don Horner
Don Horner is chairman of the Hawaii State Board of Education and the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau. He's also a board member on the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation and chair of that body's Finance Committee.
He is the former chief executive officer of First Hawaiian Bank, and still remains the bank's chairman. He has a history of helping with education initiatives, both public and private.
