Honolulu City Government Budget

Honolulu's city government, which presides over all of Oahu, has an operating budget of $1.9 billion for Fiscal Year 2012. It will spend another $530 million on capital projects, though that figure does not include more than $1 billion for the Honolulu Rail Project as that now falls under the purview of the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation.
