Lorraine Inouye

Lorraine Inouye is a former Big Island mayor and state legislator, as well as the current president of Aloha Blooms, Inc., a 10-acre anthurium farm located in Hilo. In the 2012 primary election, she ran to represent District 4 in the Hawaii Senate, which was affected by reapportionment. The district now includes North and South Kohala, parts of North Kona, Hamakua and North Hilo. She lost to Malama Solomon by 0.8 percent.
